At its center is a brilliant blue sapphire ( September Birthstone ) of 0.15 carat, shouldered by two 2.3 millimeter pearls. Meticulously detailed openwork geometric filigree motif is the perfect background for this unusual gem set vintage brooch, with millgrain edging as a classic frame for the entire romantic presentation.
