Art Deco Filigree Diamond and Sapphire Antique Krementz Brooch in 14 Karat Gold

Circa 1920's, this Art Deco bar brooch in 14K yellow gold is topped with luxurious platinum and is a rare vintage find in perfect original condition. The meticulously detailed romantic filigree openwork is an exquisite background for the brilliant blue square cut sapphire ( September Birthstone ) of approximately 0.18 carat. The lovely blue sapphire is flanked by 2 0.05 carat round brilliant cut diamonds of F/G color and VS clarity for a total diamond weight of 0.10 carat. This vintage Krementz brooch has a lever safety catch for security, and measures 2 1/4 inches wide by 5/16 inch high.
