Circa 1940's, this vintage diamond engagement ring in 14 karat (two tone) white and yellow gold is set with a shimmering 0.16 carat round brilliant cut diamond ( April Birthstone ) of G/H color and VS clarity, securely set in a box fish tail setting. 4 single cut diamonds of G/H color and VS/I clarity adorn the shoulders of the ring in matching box fish tail settings for a total diamond weight of 0.24 carat for the ring. Measuring 4.9 millimeters wide at the top of the ring, it tapers down to 1.4 millimeters wide at the bottom of the band and sits 5.1 millimeters off the finger. Elegant in its simplicity, this lovely engagement ring is sure to be cherished for generations to come.
