Circa 1920's, this Art Deco sapphire and diamond bar brooch in 14K yellow gold is topped with luxurious platinum and is a rare vintage find in perfect original condition. The meticulously detailed romantic filigree openwork is an exquisite background for the brilliant blue square cut sapphire ( September Birthstone ) of approximately 0.18 carat. The lovely blue sapphire is flanked by 2 0.05 carat round brilliant cut diamonds of F/G color and VS clarity for a total diamond weight of 0.10 carat. This vintage Krementz brooch has a lever safety catch for security, and measures 2 1/4 inches wide by 5/16 inch high.
