Movable Brazilian Samba Tropicalismo Dancer Pendant in 18 Karat Yellow Gold
C592
Circa 1960's, this delightful vintage charm/pendant features a Portuguese-Brazilian Samba singer/dancer with a moveable lower body. Watch her skirt shake and shimmy! This shiny 18K gold Brazilian bombshell is an icon from Tropicalismo, (a.k.a. Tropicalia), a Brazilian art fusion movement of theatre, poetry and music. The charm might remind you of Carmen Miranda, famous as "the lady in the tutti-frutti hat", as she too wore a fruit basket hat and carried bananas. This large pendant measures 1 5/16 inch high and 9/16 inch wide, and has a 14K yellow gold split ring bail that makes this charm perfect to wear on a favorite neckchain or easily and securely attaches this charm to a charm bracelet.
