This wonderfully ornate Art Deco filigree white sapphire engagement ring in 18K white gold features a securely 4 prong set shimmering round brilliant cut 0.40 carat natural white sapphire. Meticulously detailed openwork filigree adorns this exquisite 1920's vintage ring design, interwoven with floral and nature inspired wheat pattern engraving down the sides of the band for a truly romantic presentation.

This lovely heirloom white sapphire engagement ring sits 1/4 inch off the finger and measures 5.5 millimeters wide at the top of the ring, tapering down to 1.7 millimeters wide at the bottom of the band.

Perfect!

My now-fiance proposed with this ring a few weeks ago and it is PERFECT, literally my dream ring. The engraving is detailed and delicate. The sapphire is much larger than I expected, and SO sparkly. It is basically clear and shines like nobody's business. Nobody thus far has even suspected that it is not a diamond, and even those who knew that we did not plan to get a diamond had to ask to be sure. I've read a lot of people unhappy with the way white sapphires shine, and I will say that when you put it right beside a diamond, I can see that the white sapphire shines with more white light, while diamonds seem to reflect in more colors, but it isn't an obvious difference unless I have the two side by side, and the sapphire is still just as sparkly, just in a different way. I can only assume that this sapphire is much higher quality than the ones others have complained about. I'm extremely happy overall, I wouldn't change anything about it.
